Belton International Update.

What a start to Phoebe Lockes season, after posting wins at her first three events and numerous top ten placings with all of her horses, she went into Belton full of confidence and did not disappoint.

She arrived on Thursday and on friday morning although she was only competing Bellagio decylange ( zozo) she worked all of the other three in order to get them use to the atmosphere.
Zozo completed his test in an electric atmosphere and although he made a couple of mistakes Phoebe was very pleased how he is developing and has high hopes for this young horse. He then had a pole in the show jumping and completed a very tough XC around his first three star track.

PICA D'OR was bought from France last year and and after only her fourth event Phoebe had decided that she was prepared enough to compete  him at there first *** event.  Pic produced a good test , with a few mistakes but was only one mark off the lead after dressage. He then produced a flawless showjumping round followed by one of the smoothest XC rounds of the day well inside the time to finish on there dressage score of 31 and confirm 4th place in the CCI***

Union Fortunus ( Uni ) completed a superb dressage to finish just above his stable mate pic on a score of 30.5. He then produced a magnificent clear in the show jumping and a foot perfect clear in the XC to finish well inside the time on a score of 30.5 and finish in 3rd place in the CCI***

All of us at ESM are so proud of Phoebe, to finish 3rd and 4th in her first CCI*** senior class of the season is a wonderful achievement from this up and coming 19 year old superstar.

Well done to Phoebe and all her support team ...!!!!!!
